Hello everyone! I know this is a very different topic but my friend needs help. Is anyone of you here filing AOS from B2 visa? Do you have the copy of the requirements or cover letter? Please message me or post it here. Thank you! I'll greatly appreciate it.

I think that @ty15  did a great job with the list...I'm adjusting from a tourist visa myself and that's exactly what I sent...the only thing that I would say it's missing is the supplement part 7 of the I-131...All the documents and letter examples you can also find here on VJ following this link http://www.visajourney.com/content/examples/

Good luck!

I have raised 2 SR's so far on my EAD and no response. Even contacted local congress and made them involved but still no response. My PD is June 14th. I saw lot of people say they called tier 2 officer. Can someone tell me how to contact them?

When you call USCIS customer service on 8003755283, before telling them the reason why called, request to be transferred to a tier 2 officer.

It’s a lot and maybe I forgot something. Tell your friend to read the instructions for each form. He/she will know which additional documents he/she has to submit with the USCIS forms. Just click the links. After that it should be easy to create a cover letter.

IMPORTANT: He/she should file for AOS before his/her I-94 expires. Don’t file out of status! After he/she submitts the application he/she will have legal status even with a expired I-94 until USCIS makes a decision.

Thank you so much!!!!! This will greatly help her!

Same here! I have raised 2 SR’s so far as well. I called USCIS but they currently have technical difficulties and couldn’t hear me out so I asked to be transferred to Tier 2. I’m waiting for a call back now.

I need everyone’s prayer right now please. My new job just called this morning for me to go over and start paper work when I already informed them about the situation at hand. Well they said I should let them know as soon as soon possible because they need me right away. About an hour ago or more, according to my informed delivery, USPS accepted a shipment from USCIS. I hope it’s my EAD and not RFIE or RFE. Case status hasn’t changed and SR not assigned yet.

Has anyone had problems received the EAD card? My husband and I are 131 days in with no word of EAD. We did call recently and they told us we should've received some word. They told us within 30 days we should have the EAD card and now our status says "referral number ------, is currently not assigned for processing." It's so frustrating!

I submitted 2 SR’s (both say “not assigned for processing”) and called USCIS twice. I’m currently waiting on a callback from Tier 2. It’s just frustrating. :-(

I raised my first SR on my 88th day 09/15/17 and it has not been assigned for processing yet until now.

On 09/18 I called again and they created one more SR. Nothing is touched until you reach 30th day since the day you made SR.

Then I called one more time on 10/06 (my 109th day) and they open another SR for 5-day-due response in the morning. In the afternoon, I received the e-mail said the new SR was assigned and the response is "Your case is currently under review.  You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly." I was happy and thought my case would be resolved soon.

I am in my 114th day now and there is nothing happens. I don't think they really work on it until it comes. Even SR won't help at all. I understand how frustrating you are. I am sick of checking mail box and the tracker everyday. What will be will be, just keep calm now...

You should have it by now...did you raised a Service Request? Don't settle!!! You have to talk to someone in tier 2!

PS: Filling out your timeline usually help to answer some questions that you might have and it's also a way to "give back" to the website that help us all almost all the time as they can give other members a more accurate Processing time estimate.
