06/19: package received

07/03: E-notification recieved

07/21: Received acceptance letter in mail

07/27: RFE for I485

08/03: Biometric appointment

08/10: RFE recieved by USCIS

09/12: Visit USCIS office to check status

09/12: Case ready to schedule for an interview

09/20: Online inquiry (no response from this)

09/26: Called USCIS

09/26: EAD status changed to card in production

09/29: EAD mailed to me

10/03: Recieved EAD/AP in mail

I am at my 108 days with unanswered SR from Sept 15th. I don't think they will assign the request until the due 30th day.

Yes, oddly I feel like the online updates generally work well. just sometimes it skips over some status, for example, my i-485 status changed from "RFIE was received" directly to "interview was scheduled", without "ready to schedule a interview".

Yeah I wrote to and emailed my senator on Tuesday, still waiting for a reply.

 

I also spoke to a tier 2 who put in a request for the officer interviewing me to review the RFE.

 

And I have an infopass appointment on tuesday

 

I've now got the RFE saying if I don't send the medical by Nov 4th they will deny my case  so the clock is ticking. I guess I'll have to book a medical appointment soon.

 

I really thought my interview date was going to be the end of this

I just received my SSN today.  I applied last Monday.  That was quick!  I was expecting it to arrive after 2 weeks.

You still have time to do your I-693.  Hoping your Civil Surgeon won't take too long to complete it.  I submitted my application without it.

Happy Friday everyone,

 

My wife received two I-797 notices (NOTICE OF ACTION) today. My heart literally jump immediately i saw the letters in the mailbox (i know i'm dramatic). After a few deep breaths i opened the letter and it was a notice of approval for my wife's EAD and AP.  

 

Approved 10/02/2017 and they are both valid for a year. 

 

I want to point out my online status did not change. This confirms what a lot of you guys have said about the online status not being up to date. 

 

if you're reading this there's good news coming your way. I would also suggest you contact USCIS if your case is outside normal processing time. https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do

 

 

06/19/2017 - Mailed I-130 (G-1145, I-130A) & I-485 (G-1145, G-325A, I-864, I-765, I-131, I-693) 

06/21/2017 - Delivered Chicago Lockbox

06/28/2017 - USCIS Cashed check

06/29/2017 - I-130, I-485, I-765 & I-131 Received notification via text and email

07/08/2017 -  Received I-797C in the mail for ASC Appointment Notice (Biometric) scheduled for 07/18/2017 1pm

07/26/2017 - Got a notification online saying "we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxx, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice

10/06/2017 - Received EAD & AP Approval letter *approval date 10/02/2017*

Congrats! I submitted my pacakge pretty much around the same time. I stopped checking the online updates because it's driving me crazy! :-D I hope I will recieve my approval letter soon as well!

If not, try to prepare it before the interview, it turns out to be some very important documents during my interview.

guys may i ask another question please?

 

when you sent in your AOS applications, did you include a form i-130a? My husband found it in the instructions but this is the first time I have heard of it.
