How many days after 90 days did you decide to call to expedite your EAD ? My 90th day is tomorrow and I'm desperate to work cause my husband has an injury and is currently on disability. We could really use my income as help.

No they didn't, they used it as IS and I actually applied for SSN that same day with the EAD, my passport and marriage certificate.

I called on the 90th day itself. I hope that helps, i'm not 100% sure yet myself if it will actually work. But i'm trying to be positive!

Finally, I just received sms/email saying NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED! One day after submitting a SR online.  

 

Just have to wait for the card to arrive and I can apply for SSN & State ID. Woot woot!

It seems that we have to wait nearly 4 months to receive the card in hand. I made SR on last Friday and it hasn't assigned for processing yet. Hope it will be assigned soon. At least I could see something moving. I am so tired from watching the same status during 3 months.

At 75 days I called USCIS and they said they'd get in touch with the local office for my case to be flagged for priority. Is this the same as a service request (which you guys have been requesting starting at the 90 days mark)? My online status says "As of September 12, 2017, your inquiry about the status of your Employment Authorization application, referral number xxx, is currently not assigned for processing." They said I'd get some sort of information within 30 days.

 

I'll hit 90 days very soon, should I call or do the online SR again? I don't want to repeat the same process if that's what I did at the 75 day mark.

I want to know this as well. We have called twice; the first time they told us to wait 30 days. After the 30 days were up, we called last Friday and they said to wait 5 days and they will send us a letter as to why it's taking so long. But nothing has changed online. It still says that the case has been received

no, when you call them past 75 days they'll only notify the team working on your case that the deadline is approaching. but when it's 90 days they'll prioritize it. so it'll help if you call them again on the 90 day mark.
