Everyone, try to check if your I-765 is over 90 days. Once it is, you can call USCIS and have it expedited so they can work on it before it reaches 100+ days. I called them just now and they said they'll get back to me within the next 5 days.

Just a tip, so that everyone can get their EAD on time. They did say that the standard time is 90 days, and they encourage us to call them if it's already been over that.

Thanks Reina

So basically you took the same documentation you sent when applied for K1 and AOS plus pictures and accounts?

After the interview what is next?

Thanks

Yes! We didn't really have joint bank account so I just brought more pictures. After the interview, the IO will tell you if it's approved or it needs to be reviewed.

If it's approved how long does it takes to get the Green card?

What type of questions did they asked you?

I did the same thing this morning...  I was waiting 90 days from my NOA1 but they consider 90 days from received date... I was over 100 days.

They told me my local office will contact me, probably by e-mail.

Good luck to all

Yeah. Just make sure to call USCIS after 90 days have passed since NOA1 for your EAD. As long as you didn't get your RFE then they'll be able to expedite it. Waiting for Monday then i'll call them.

Thank you! This (along with your more recent post) is very helpful, and I have the 90th day marked in calendar ;)

Good luck to everyone with EAD / AP / GC! I hope it's a smooth and easy process for everyone.

Today I'm at 91 days since my priority date. My interview is scheduled for 2 weeks today.

I'm going to assume my EAD/AP applications are going to be forgotten about. Does anyone know if this is the case? I don't think it's worth me contacting USCIS now...?

I am in the same position. It's been 109 days since my PD and my interview is next month. No news yet. Someone got their EAD in spite having an interview scheduled. Maybe you can raise an SR? I doubt that you'll get the EAD before your interview if your interview is at the end of the month. But I would raise an SR or call anyway.

I just submitted a service request. I don't expect it to do anything. Have you contact them or raised an SR?

It says to expect a reply by Sept 30th (3 days before my interview :P)

I guess for the more fortunate people with their interview dates set, it's just an optional. Especially if you're getting your GC within the next month.

But yeah, for those like me who might be waiting for 3 more months or so (DC and Virginia area takes a while from what I heard), it helps to get the EAD as soon as we can for us to start working while waiting for our local offices to schedule us for an interview.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

We're still hoping for our EAD in spite having an interview scheduled for next month since we don't know for sure what the outcome would be. It seems that the EADs are taking longer than a 100 days compared to those who filed in January to March. As for timelines, it seems that the Late May to June applications should start rolling in in the next few weeks. It will come soon!

I agree. I wish we knew that we could expedite the process if the application is past 90 days and we would have greatly benefited from receiving it in time. I apologize if it seems that I dismissed your worries regarding the EAD but I do sincerely hope everyone gets their EAD and Interviews soon so we can all move forward with our lives.
