JUST AN UPDATE

Husby and I went to USCIS office to check on our case status yesterday, since we have no update after our biometric on 08/03. The USCIS officer told us they are working on May cases and it will take a month for them to start scheduling June filers for interviews (sad). After 3 hours from our visit, my online case status changed to "case ready to be schedule for interview".

Got my driving permit today.

June filers we getting close.

Yes! Just a little more patience! What documents did you use to get your drivers permit? And is that the same as driver's license? I'm dying to be able to drive. I lived in Europe so everything was walking distance from my house and now I feel stuck at home sometimes

Hey even i have DC field office.

So do I... But as @Anthony and Bobby said, the DC field office is swamped. Oh well. I am more stressed about finally getting my EAD; I can't wait to help contribute and take the burden of full financial responsibility off my spouse (although she keeps telling me that she does not actually mind, but still...).

oooo yeah. I used my i-485 receipt, passport id and 2 documents with my name and address to show proof of address. The driving permit has a condition, an adult with a valid driving license should always be with me when I drive. They will give the driver's license after I pass the road test.

Driving is key here #excited.

Thank you! I'm going to ask if I can do it in my state. Driving is necessary here for sure! :)

I haven't seen a June 2017 thread/forum for an AOS.  I am petitioner filing for spouse, he arrived on a K1 Fiancee Visa. We got married May 19, 2017.

I mailed AOS packet to Chicago on 5/31/17 and they received 6/01/17.

Expecting email/text notification soon! We are waiting very patiently, but my husband is very eager to work.

Anyone please share your timelines and experiences! 😊

Any June AOS filers here???

have you received the GC?

My husband and I are now at day 105. Status still says ready to schedule an interview. My husband is getting really frustrated and depressed of sitting in the house. I wish these people would come on already lol

Day 98 for me. I can totally understand your husband I'm starting to feel the same way..:(
