One more thing about processing time, since i am in San Bernadino field office, so I checked the similar immigration timelines on VisaJourney, which I find now is helpful and precise. So I think that it is a good tool to estimate your processing time.

Good luck!

"Welcome to a new world. On August 28, 2017, USCIS issued a press release that describes the expansion of categories that will require in-person interviews to obtain a green card. The expansion includes green card applicants in employment based categories and relative petitions for refugees and asylees."

"An AOS applicant should expect the time frame to get a green card to be extended."

Ahh, Ohh...

Well, at least we are in line already, I am sure it will affect those who apply in coming months...

Oh... I had no idea employment bad AOS didn't need a green card interview.

I wonder how much impact this will have on EAD/AP which is my (and I think some others') main concern right now.

Hi guys hope everyone enjoyed the Labor Day as much as I did. I was just wondering if anyone opened a service request for the I-765 as most of us are well over the 75 days needed to do so. 🤓

I did a service request Saturday night online and they say that they should get back to me by September 24th with an answer but I'm thinking about calling tomorrow to see if I can get some quicker answer. 😊 What do you guys think?

I can't wait to get a job....my savings are almost gone and I'm responsible for my moms health insurance in Brazil...I know that my husband would gladly pay for it if I have no money left (as he have been taking care of me without even thinking about it), but I just feel like this is my responsibility and I really don't want to ask him to send her this money. 😬

Hope everything goes faster and everybody have a wonderful night!

Peace!!! 🙂

Hi! My husband called and did one about 2 week ago and they told him it could take up to 30 days for them to get back with him. That was at day 76, and we are now on 96. He is ready to work so he can help his family out. Plus, it's been hard on me being the only one working in the house. I wish they would hurry

Hi guys,

I woke up to an email saying my interview has been scheduled! :) It is on October 2nd.

Today is 75 days since my notice date. Hope you all get an update soon!!

June 15th Sent of AOS packet
June 21st Received email/text receipts
June 22nd Received hard copy of receipts
June 30th Received biometric appointment letter
July 13th Biometric completed

September 5th Interview scheduled

That's awesome! I'm about a week behind your NOA date so I'm going to try to not get too excited a week from now

Good morning friends! I am a June filer also:

28th June case was received;

8th July-notices of acceptance ; 1st August-biometric done.

Then I made request to expedite my i131, as i needed to visit my country due to the death of relative, sent a copy of death certificate.

They approved it and I received my combo card on 18th August. It took approximately 14 days from my request to having car in hands.

My status for 130 and 485 petitions still hasn't changed...

Called USCIS 5 mins ago and first representative said that there is a backlog and they are working now on cases with December 2016 date...Was awful to hear it...Will rely on timeline of visajourney.

Good luck to everyone!

p.s. If someone filled at Arizona state, let's cooperate :)

Yeah fingers crossed! It's hard to know what will happen after the biometrics, but waiting is a guarantee:jest:
