AOS June 2017 Filers!

Hi, guys.

 

I've got my RFE letter. The letter says I-864 form has a mistake: there is a missing name on Page 3. We've fixed that, but the question is: do we need to resend all package including supporting evidence (taxes, W-2, et cetera) or maybe just I-864 form alone would be enough? The problem is that if I need to send all supporting documents again the earliest I can get them is in 2 weeks.

05/31/2017 USCIS Chicago received application package

 

06/26/2017 Biometrics appointment in Riverside, CA. Interestingly, i read that a lot people wrote that their biometrics appointment places were empty , 5- 10 mins for in and out. but mine was about one hour. in lobby area there were about 100 people...No security check, maybe because of too many people. So for the people who will have their biometrics appointment, please be arrived earlier, coz walk in and out for 5minutes is not for all the places.

 

06/26/2017 RFIE received.

 

07/05/2017 RFIE response received by USCIS NBC.

We had a very similar timeline, but no RFIE is sort of a good thing...maybe they are just waiting for scheduling your interview:)

Ooops, my bad! 🤗 So as far as I have seen from our fellows AOS June fillers, was one interview squeduled to (if I'm not mistaken) August 15 (crazy fast right)...one lucky couple!!! Some have the case ready for an interview but no other updates...as far as I'm concerned, my EAD and AP get been pushed further away every time I check here at VJ.

Your NOA1 says where your case is been processed 😉

This is part of the e-mail that they sent me when they accepted my case...

"Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number..."

NBC = National Benefits Center
