Thank you!!! I guess it was fast compared to others who have waited longer for an interview. No expedite request or service request, just a whole lot of waiting and praying! lol

No waiver lol. But I read on VJ that if you get an interview, the process is faster and usually approved for GC on that day. Others with a waiver may experience longer wait time. I'm not sure if this is a myth or actual fact.

Wow! Congrats to you and your husband! That was very fast! 

My case status on I-485 hasn't been updated since "case ready for schedule an interview" but I-130, I-131 and I-485 are still in "case was received" since the beginning of June, did yours change from case was received to something else?

After scrolling down the email notification, I read the following which might clarify a few questions about interview waivers. I hope this helps!

 

If your case status indicates that you are currently in this step, you have either been scheduled for an interview or are in line to be scheduled for an interview. The amount of time your application will remain in this step will vary by office and is largely determined by the number of cases ahead of yours. The interview notice will have specifics about time, location and anything you will need to bring to your interview. If your application remains pending beyond our normal processing times (as shown below) please contact our national customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. Please note that not every application/applicant will require an interview. In some instances, an interview is required by regulation and others an interview is requested because USCIS has determined that this is the most efficient means to determine eligibility. For a naturalization application the interview will include your taking the required English and/or Civics tests (unless exempt or waived).

Yes it changed to Interview Scheduled. Yayy!! 😊

 

Your interview is on August 15, 2017. Please follow the instructions in the notice. I got it as well. Fingers crossed and lets hope it's nothing major.

 

We sent our package on June 18. Received emails for NOA on 21 June followed by actual letters in mail. Case was transferred to NBC. Online status for I-485 showed that the fingerprint fee was received from day 1. Online status changed yesterday to Request for Initial evidence was mailed.

 

Did you have your fingerprinting done already? I always thought that they would do this before an RFI since I have not received my biometrics letter as of yet.
