This is how I sent my files in, look image below. I sent 4 files, labeled packet 1,2,3 & 4. This includes I-485 App to adjust status, I-864 Financial Support, I-765 EAD & Travel Ap I-131. I included on each packet the required evidence and documentation. Therefore there many repeats, like 3 copies of G1145, 3 copies of certified marriage licence (1 orginal, 2 copies), 3 copies of I-90.

I figured since these forms are processed separately, I wanted to make sure they were well organized with the requested documents.

We did the same but without the pretty binders. No rfe/RFIE yet at least. RD MARCH 08, recent ead approval. I like to think it has made a difference :)

Dear, I've got mine, even though my I-94 was expired since February (02/26/2017), there was a doubt about having a expired i-94 but in the end they issued mine...I actually had a expired Florida drivers license that had my maiden name on it and I wanted it with my husband name and they actually did it, despite the fact that I only had the USCIS letter with his name.

I brought my valid passport, my expired passport (it have my American tourist visa), my last I-94, all USCIS letters (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131), my 2 expired drivers licenses and my marriage certificate. I only tried it because my sister told me that she have a friend that got hers also with a expired I-94 and without a SSN. The woman at DMV told me that it is going to be valid for one year from today's date but I wasn't going to get it on spot, she gave me temporary license valid for 60 days and the actual drivers license will be mailed to my house (this is okay becaBHuse my last one was done the same way, they mailed it to me about 20 days after).

She asked if I had a SSN I said no and that was it, she told me that as soon as I get a SSN I have to go there and let them know it...I think you should try it, there is no other way to know, I believe that it will work out for you just fine.

Good luck!!!

Awesome!!! Thank you for helping!!!

Updating my timeline:

Sent aos package: 06/05/17

Delivered: 06/07/17

NOA (texts and email for all the forms) and checks cashed: 06/15/17

NOA in mail: 06/20/17

Biometrics appointment in mail:  06/24/17

I haven't got any RFE yet, does people still get them after biometrics appointment notice? I sent everything including medical examination form but I may have forgot something. I hope not!

I'm also filing I-130 and I-485 together with I-131 and I-765 and I got NOA in the mail for all the forms except I-130. I suppose I should get a  NOA in the mail for all of them right?

Thanks to everybody and good luck!

I received a Notice to Applicant regarding not submitting a completed and signed I-693. Notice date was 06/21, 11 days after Biometrics Appointment Notice.

You should have received the I-130 NOA1 as well. Mine was addressed to hubby/USC.  Did you put in the same mailing address on all forms?

Best of luck to you moving forward!

My husband did his biometric today! It went smoothly, nice and easy!

His apt was at 1pm, we arrived from out of town like 1 1/2 hour away from home. So we walked in early. We were helped at 12:20pm before scheduled appt. I was able stay with him in waiting area, but when he got called I couldn't go with him to back office. No interpreter available for him, but he was able to get his fingerprints done. It look less than 10min, prob 8 min.

I think my I-130 NOA will be adressed to my husband too, and since his mailing address is still his parents house, then that's probably where the NOA is. Thanks for opening my eyes! 😃

Finished our biometrics appointment today! Our appointment was at 9:00AM but it was a good thing that our ASC was just 20 minutes away from home. Overall, the biometrics was quick! We arrived at 8:30AM and left even before our appointment. (:

When we arrived, we were asked to fill our form with some simple questions. Name, date of birth, hair and eye color, etc. Then we were given a number. The actual "biometrics" was quick. Ten fingerprints and a picture and we were good to go!

Your ID or identification needs to reflect the name on your receipts. If you have a photo ID with your maiden name, you need to bring your marriage certificate as proof of legal name change. Other than that, I don't see why you need to bring your marriage certificate. I brought my driver's license with my married name, passport with my maiden name, and my marriage certificate. Though, when I went it, they only needed my DL.

what documents are needed for Bio metrics people are saying to carry state photo ID and marriage certificate but the letter doesn't state to bring marriage certificate?

You do not need to take marriage certificate to biometric appt. The biometric appt letter clearly states what to bring with you to your schedules appt. It only ask for the letter itself and a government issued ID, nothing else.

My husband and I werent asked for marriage certificate nor the other people walking in.  USCIS should already have a copy on file when youb submited your AOS.
