I had read that there is speculation that I-751 applicants must now undergo a mandatory interview. Has anyone else hear about this?
Also has anyone received an RFE?

Not true. Read this:

RFE is too early for us since they're processing Dec 2016 and Jan 2017 applications now for VSC, maybe 3 months from now we will get response from USCIS VSC.

Thanks for the link! I only see I-485 and I-730 listed, not our ROC I-751. Was there another announcement for lifting conditions applicants? Or is everyone just making assumptions that it includes us?

Nope, that is the latest announcement as of this year, so it is not true that all I-751 applicants will go for an interview prior to approval since there is no announcement. 

 

For sure random they will do and if the evidences that you sent and response to RFE is not enough.

Beside, if they will do the interview for all I-751 applicants, then it will take more than 2 years before they can process all the application given they are backlog for more than a year and there are more form applications than i-751.

They should just make a new rule saying if you were married less than 2 years when receiving your conditional permanent residency, if you apply for N-400 you don't need to apply for 10 year status.  hahahaha I wish!

I think we might expect update towards the end of the month since USCIS is now dealing in recalling all the green cards that were issued with wrong date of permanency.
