I received an email for the service request saying I don't need biometrics because it was up to date. Obviously I got the email after I had given my biometrics, so it makes sense that they had it up to date. I did not receive a letter.

@wanderer84 ok thanks, makes me wonder what is the letter that i'll be getting today from USCIS Vermont. I had my biometrics a month ago and I got my NOA two months ago. I'm a little worried and anxious about it. I don't think its approval letter since it's to early for them to processed and approved my case.

@wanderer84 Not yet, I'm still at work, will check it once I got home and update you. I'm very anxious about it not sure what is that letter.

If you had raised a service request for biometrics, it's probably a letter to tell u the status.

@wanderer84 I hope so and nothing serious, but you also raised a service ticket for your biometrics letter but  you did not get any letter from them?

No I received an email. Did you receive an email regarding your service request ? 

Maybe some people receive emails and some via mail.

@wanderer84 I have not received any email, I hope the letter is about the service request that I raised and that would be pointless because I already had my biometrics appointment a month ago.

Yes. I think the letter is going to say after a review your biometrics is up to date and that you don't need to take biometrics. Try not to worry. 

 

They have to officially close the service request. So it makes sense to send an email or via mail. I think the communication method depends on the officer who gets assigned to the service request.

@wanderer84 You're correct its all about the service request that I raised about my biotmerics appointment. The letter said that they mailed the bio letter which is technically i received it and the letter says I did not appeared on my bio appointment which I did, it is indicated as well that they will send the biometrics appointment. So I'm kind a lost now. I called the USCIS and I requested a call back.

Strange, I am sure its some kinda mess up on their side. Do you have the signed and stamped biometric letter from giving your biometrics ? thats your proof.

@wanderer84 Yes, i still have the bio letter with stamped and signed from the ASC. I got a call back from them and explained everything. The lady rep told me that everytime we raised a service ticket request the USCIS center needs to response and maybe when they response they did not see yet that I did the biometrics. Kind a strange because I did the bio a month ago already and the rep also see on their system that I did the bio. The rep said she will inform VSC that i did the bio and it is now showing up on the system. The rep told me that she will gonna ask as well if VSC still need to send me another bio letter given the fact I did the bio already, she informed me that i will receive another letter stating that If I need to do a bio or not. Kind a annoying but at least i was able to resolved.

Hi! Hope you all hanging in there , I filled on the 22nd of May , as of now no updates and it’s been 201 days since changes on the uscis app, I noticed January fillers are already being approved without interviews in VSC , I hope we will hear from USCIS in about. ’ 2-3 months !

Wow! January filers already approved? Okay so at best we could get approvals in April!
