Called USCIS customer service today and spent so much time "asking" (more like begging) to raise to Tier-2 officer for my missing biometric letter.

At last turned out to leave phone number and they will call back.

Not sure if they really will call back??

 

Also set up an INFOpass appointment tomorrow. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a biometric letter from infopass and do fingerprints there?

Hopefully worthy of the 1hr round trip drive!

Yes, if you leave a number for tier-2 they will call you back.  We called twice about my husband's letter (once to report it missing and once to have them fax a copy) and both times he left a number and T2 called back.

Thank you for your help!!

I got the officer calling back yesterday and fax my biometric letter.

My biometric was actually scheduled today and I just finished the process. The officer in the field office actually print out another (better and clearer) copy for me and completed all the fingerprints.

 

Very thankful that made the call yesterday and getting tips and suggestions from this forum.

I had my biometrics appointment today at noon. I was going to try a walk in last week but for my job I does be all over the place on different job sites, but everything went well today, nice and smooth and easy. Just now to wait some now

I had my Biometrics last Friday (6/30) in Cranston, RI. Was in and out in 15 minutes approx. Very straightforward and very nice staff.

 

Now for the waiting game.

Took me a while to get back on VisaJourney, but I'm also a May filer at VSC.

 

I had my biometrics appointment in Atlanta on June 26, took about an hour (less than expected), and now the waiting game begins.

Hopefully it doesn't take the full year to get approved!

You beat me to it, i was just going to post and say the same thing, i checked it and it made me happy to see what we caught up to them finally, hopefully we can pass them now. While waiting to hear back from them i was actually thinking about the naturalization process

@Comic I will definitely submit my naturalization application once I'm eligible next year even my I-751 is still pending. I will give them stress to process my two application since they are giving out stress in delaying the approval. LOL! I actually downloaded now the app for the civic test so I can start reviewing.

@Lemon23 yea I was looking up information and how the process works and I think I'm going to finally do it and get this whole immigration process behind me and out of the way, I hate when I have to do immigration stuff and it takes so long

I think that if your I-751 is still pending. You should not apply for citizenship. I have a friend. Last month, she had an interview with the DHS officer. When she came the office for her interview. The DHS officer talked with her that "we could not interview you now, because your I-751 has been still pending, you had to wait for your approval of I-751 and we would arrange you another interview". Then, she was back home and continued waiting

@Libra55 That is DHS mistakes, they should not scheduled your friend for the interview of her citizenship if the DHS Officer see's that her I-751 is still pending approval. You can still submit the application for naturalization regardless if your I-751 is still pending approval. It's all about eligibility and entitlement specially on immigration stuff, the stress should be on immigration side not on us because we follow the guidelines about immigration stuff so they should work on that, beside the filing is not free and we paid for it.

I was surprised now I got a letter from USCIS Vermont when I got informed delivery email notification from USPS today. I wonder what is it and i hope it's a good news.

@wanderer84 Did you received any letter from USCIS after you called and USCIS rep created a service request ticket for not receiving your biometrics letter appointment?
