Hello everyone,

I recently completed my CR1 interview at the Cairo Embassy. All went well but the CO returned my passport at the end of the interview and said that I need to mail the embassy an updated tax return for 2016 (the one I submitted was for 2015). He told me after I send this document, they will print my visa.

Has anybody encountered this before? and if so, does this mean I am under administrative processing? He also told me that my tourist visa was cancelled.

Any help/experience on this matter would be highly appreciated!

Seems pretty straight forward. Just send them what they ask for. The sooner you send it, the sooner you will get an answer.
