This is so true as well. I have met many people who believed that they were the bees knees on a subject because they voted Democrat. Sorry just because you vote one way does not make it true or right. I have had a couple serious conversations at work about this with people and I had to tell them that "this is a federal workplace and you can't be doing or saying this". The people tried to argue with me until I brought the documents in to show them. Sorry you can't make your pu##y hats and signs at work to take to the march on Saturday, and you can't bring in your Hillary cake just because you have extra because she lost.

I think all presidents including Obama want to end the filibuster just as all of them would love the line-item veto.  This is not a partisan issue when one is in the WH.

You realize that older people die over the years right?  See the bottom two pie charts?  Notice how heavy they voted Republican.

Over time, the people on the top will continue to vote, while we will see less and less people from the bottom voting.

 

This means more Democratic sided voters and less Republican sided voters.

 

Simple conclusion to arrive at really.

Your assumption is that the Gen-Xers and Millennials will continue to have the same political beliefs as they grow older.  This is a faulty logic as people always change.  I am no millennial, but I guess I would be considered on the front end of Gen X and my political leanings have changed quite a bit over the years.

You could contend that younger voters are less intelligent as they do not have the life experiences and non-formal education to form positions from.  Personally, I think all voters can be smart in their own way, and trying to say one age bloc is smarter, or more informed than another is simply wrong.

I have some links too. Some of them showing how climate data was manipulated to achieve the desired result as I stated earlier. I even have a link from NASA which contradicts some of the information in your link (as well as contradicts information put out by the IPCC). There is a lot of money to be made by climate scientists, policy makers and others by perpetuating the man made global warming myth. This was all exposed a few years ago in what some have called Climategate but the carbon Nazis move forward with their agenda as if nothing happened.

Very true. I said it before and I'll say it till I'm blue in the face it's ridiculous to assume ones intelligence based on who they vote for.

Also very true. Many of the 50+ year old more conservative voters today were liberal when they were in college. Things change.

And again very true. Add to that the mostly BS they are being taught in school and college these days that doesn't teach them to think for themselves(goes well with your other thread about critical thinking). Everybody is different, and sees the world differently and wants different things. Saying someone who voted a certain way is smarter than another who voted a different way is really NO different than saying someone who likes pizza is smarter than someone who doesn't.
