Hi, please could I have some help, insight.

We sent our package, recieved our NOA1 .. but I've been doing some research in my free time about things and I'm not sure what we sent was enough. And I didn't realise you had to send proof of ongoing relationship.. here is what we sent:-

-passport stamp of my entry to San Diego.

-His orders proving he was based in SD.

-map proving how close base, and my house were in SD.

- notarised letter from my parents saying it's official

- notarised letter from his parents saying it's official

- letter explaining how we met in a bar in San Diego

- screenshots of a video we took together

- a picture of us holding hands

- boarding pass from San Diego to Georgia to meet his family.

- his boarding pass from San Diego to Georgia a week before mine.

- a screenshot of a text I sent his mom once is left their house saying thankyou for everything. With her reply saying it was lovely etc.

i believe that's everything - do you think that will be enough? I'm so scared because we don't have anything else??

If they send us an RFE I don't have any other proof of meeting in person I really don't as we paid for stuff in cash in Georgia, I have maybe receipts of stuff in San Diego on my card but I'm not sure?

Please give me some insight on this being sufficient.

You are from the UK, an easy country to get a visa from; what you have should be plenty.

Bring some more to the interview, recent stuff.

We talk 24/7 with iMessage and FaceTime ... we're like a normal young couple in contact 24/7 .. he's a marine too so I'm hoping you know.. he is legally obliged to tell the truth to his own government, he's sworn to them. But do you honestly think that's enough? I can bring 1 million messages and calls to the interview, proving we're in a relationship isn't hard.. we're legit as can be. But if you really think that's enough to not get RFE maybe I can rest my mind!

I agree, you have comprehensive front loaded application.  Continue collecting evidence of the ongoing nature of the relationship, and additional in-person meetings for when the interview comes around.  Many people bring a lot more photos and communication logs at that time.

Good Luck!

Just as a comparison, at the time of my application, I included just the letters from each of us, about four dated photos from our two in person person meetings prior to the application and the travel information from my two visits.  We took all the communication logs and additional photos to the interview and they were essentially ignored and we were approved with no RFEs or administrative processing.  I think you are just fine.

I remember quoting that in the package, that further evidence will be shown at the interview and stuff. We have expedited our pack as he is being deployed with the Marines so we won't be seeing eachother until I get there. So no more pictures. Only the one video and the one holding hands.  Like I said proving we're in a relationship isn't hard, he's my entire world. I've just seen people sending pictures and stuff and getting RFE's and it's like?!?! How???? A few from the UK recently too!

I cannot comment on those cases as I don't know what specifically was being asked for in the RFEs, but at this point it is water under the bridge as you have already submitted your package.  To my knowledge, you cannot now add additional information unless in fact they do send you an RFE requesting it.  Personally, I wouldn't worry about it at this point, and just continue to collect any additional evidence that can be used if you do indeed get an RFE, or for the interview.  What you listed does seem comprehensive.

I had the same question too I was told to bring any new information and evidence to the interview. Since I've made a second trip back and had a wedding ceremony.

Since your said that proving your relationship isn't hard then you have nothing to worry about. The officer will see this and you guys will be fine! My wife and I were in a similar situation and we spoke to our attorney and she said that it's obvious we are genuine and she predicts we will get the stamp in my passport on the day of the interview. Although Our case isn't through K1 and rather AOS, I'm sure the same rules apply

Honestly, like said before, you are from a low-fraud country and front-loading is not extremely necessary but if that puts your mind to ease. The most RFE's being send out if because people forgot to check a box or in my case, they wanted a photocopy of the biographical page of my passport. I just put two A4 pages of photo's with my application (I put a few per page on it) and copies of my boarding passes, some evidence of Whatsapp and Skype contact and that's it.

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand

Take screen shots of random messages, dated as far back as when you two started talking. My fiancé just finished the K1 visa process and entered thebus in June 2, 2017...2 days ago!  Listen here....they take the proof of relationship VERY seriously. They do not want to see a bunch of conversations about "I love you and I miss you". They want to see a bunch of random conversations about your day, and my fiancée too screen shots of conversations with my mom and old Facebook posts with dates and comments. They will need NEW relationship evidence at the interview, also, so keep printing out screenshots from here on out. Also, photographs of you two and family together. During her interview, she took about 50 pages of pictures and chats and emails and phone logs and the officier went through EVERY SINGLE PAGE which shocked us both.

We only have videos together, but talk everyday etc, also your fiancé is from Mexico which is slightly different with recent changes, UK is still very low fraud. Mexico is very high fraud etc.... I'm taking everything I can but I'm just asking for advice on the initial package in aim of getting the Noa2 with no RFE's
