I got an RFE because I forgot to check one box on page 5. On my RFE, it also said "additional evidence is required to establish relationship'. After that sentence, it said. " please complete page 5 of this petition".   I checked box 5 and sent it off and was approved.

All they want is for you to submit your passport photos, in the format the require. Do not forget to write the name and date of photo on the back of the picture. That's all they are asking for. Do not send them anything else other than passport photos.

how long it took them to approve your case after you submit it?

Hi, we got the same rfe as you, passport style photos of the petitioner. The legal language of our RFE is a bit different so that confused me but the letter is named '' Request for evidence ''.

We had also missed to check 2 boxes in the application, but they didn't address the blank boxes and are asking we provide photos. The question now is, should we only send the photos or should we send the answers to the two missing questions we forgot to answer? Screenshot_20170617-194109.thumb.png.cef1618193e6b3f351b93ccb1dd6efbc.png

Make sure you check the specs of the photo. I got my photo first taken at a CVS store and specs were not good, I believe. I sent the new ones and got approved in two days.

I don't wanna mislead you but I think you should send the ones with boxed checked because they might send you another RFE later.

Thank you for the advice. The fun fact about the photos is that my fiance (US citizen) used the same passport photos that he took for his passport renewal. But I'll be sure to tell him to go to a professional photo studio and ask them to do the photos according to USCIS standards. As for the unchecked boxes, the advice we got from people familiar with USCIS is to not send anything that they specifically didn't ask for. So, my dilemma still stands, do we send everything knowing we have blank boxes that need to be checked, or just send the photos. Thank you again
