hi. may I ask, have you encountered a situation for CW 1 visa holders? Just wondering.

I am a US permanent resident (greencard holder) and I got married in Saipan (a US territory) to my lifetime partner who is a CW 1 visa holder.  Can I ask if she will change her status in Saipan, what are the requirements needed, how much we will spend for it and how long we need to wait for the processing.

Your wife will not be able to immediately adjust status.  A visa number is not immediately available to the spouse of a green card holder.  Currently, the wait is 2 years.  During the 2 years, your wife will need to maintain legal status in Saipan in order to adjust status.  Once her Priority Date becomes current in 2 years, she then can apply to adjust status.

Follow the Guides on VJ.  You'll find an estimate of cost in there.
