Just had my oath ceremony. It was from 9 a.m till around 11:00 a.m. It was very orderly and wonderful.

They also gave opportunity to take photos with the county officials, which I thought was great. 

Here's how it went . 1) Get certificate ( to inspect everything is correct ) 2. Return Greencard/ take back certificate after verification 3) Sign the back of the OATH letter 4) Get info on Social Security update 5) Go to a different room to register to vote. 

10: 30 a.m = Oath Ceremony and Certificate distribution.

My problem is I did a name change . So I have to do a lot of updates from DMV/Social Security/ Work/ Bank and various other accounts. Hopefuly that's it. Going to be nice. :)

Hi everyone!

My application was submitted on June 07, 2017 (3 years rule). And my interview date was on September 26, 2017. After interviewed, I got the notice that I passed the interview but the decision has not made yet. 

After 126 days, I went to the local USCIS office on January 29 and its told by the officer that the Supervisor is still review my Case. 

And then yesterday, my Attorney called to let me know that the Supervisor just email to him about my Case that “ I have to submit the request to withdraw my application by myself” and “ I can reapply N-400 5 years rule”. I don’t need to know the reasons why the USCIS told my attorney. It’s fine. I don’t want to against or wasting my time for this stuff. 

So, how can I do submit a request to withdraw my application? (I am still married with my wife but we don’t have any children yet.)

28JUN17 - Application - Santa Ana, CA field office - 5 year rule - Paper filing.

28JUL17 - FPrints.

02AUG17 - Inline for Interview.

09FEB18 - Received notification for interview scheduled. Now waiting for the paper to arrive via USPS.

 

Time so far : 7 full months.

 

Finally, good movement for June 2017.

Legend:
GC-Date: The 'Resident Since' Date located on your first green card.
Sent: Date N-400 was mailed to USCIS.
Cashd: Date your check was cashed / credit card was charged by USCIS.
NOA: Receipt Notice Date Printed on your official I-797 notification.
Fprints: Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.
Field Office: Your local USCIS office where you will have the N-400
