I think what is required is your tax returns. There is no need for employment and salary information. Your tax return lets the USCIS know you are working and paying taxes

Hey all! Hubby is finally in line for an interview. Updating below. I have been testing him a little every day so that he feels prepared when the time comes. We have a cruise planned in November, so we are hoping he doesn't have an interview for that week. But we should be good since it is Thanksgiving week.

Hi, I had mine on 7/5 and the Atlanta office seems painfully slow :-(

I have even noticed that they sometimes sent nothing until the interview date!

and if you get the chance to sit it out or dance.......

Spouse had the interview today in downtown Los Angeles.  Everything went well and the officer recommended the application for approval.

 

Arrived about 30 minutes before scheduled interview.  We waited about an hour to be called.  It turns out cell phones are allowed everywhere, so I had to go back to the car to get our phones.  The interview itself took about 20 minutes.

 

Went over the n400 application and answers.

 

U.S. History / Government Test:

- If both the President and the Vice President can no longer serve, who becomes the President?

- Name one branch or part of the government.

- We elect a U.S. Senator for how many years?

- What did the declaration of independence do?

- What does the President's cabinet do?

- How many justices are on the Supreme Court?

 

English Test:

- Read - When is Columbus Day?

- Write - Columbus Day is in October

 

We brought passport photos, but they ended up taking new photos there and didn't need them.  The officer was extremely nice and helpful.

 

I hope all of the other June filters make some good progress very soon!

We brought passport photos, but they ended up taking new photos there and didn't need them.  The officer was extremely nice and helpful.

 

I hope all of the other June filters make some good progress very soon!

6/28/2016 (Day 8) - Check cashed and NOA dated 6/21/2016 received in the mail

7/18/2016 (Day 28) - Biometrics appointment done at Santa Ana ASC

2/28/2017 (Day 254) - Spouse received call from immigration officer verifying if we still lived together at our current address. He ended the conversation by saying we our approved and no need for interview

3/3/2017 (Day 257) - Received approval letter in the mail! 

3/13/2017 (Day 267) - Online status updated - new card being produced

3/16/2017 (Day 270) - Online status updated - new card was mailed to me

3/20/2017 (Day 274) - 10 year green card on hand!!

8/10/2017 - Case is in line for interview

1/22/2018 - N-400 interview date scheduled 

1/26/2018 - Received N-400 interview letter in the mail! Interview scheduled on Feb. 28 

2/28/2018 - Naturalization interview - recommended for approval! :)

3/20/2018 - Oath taking ceremony :dance:

i751 still pending since Aug 29 2016. CSC

 

 

N-400 Application sent to AZ lockbox.

Field office San Antonio, TX

 

N-400 received 06/23/2017

07/11/2017 Notification of finger prints.

07/23/2017 Finger print scheduled

07/26/2017 Finger prints done during walk in.  Missed the actual appointment due to relocation.

9/15/2017  change of address was being processed. Filled the form out a couple of weeks before it was assigned to an officer for processing.

 

Information prior to N-400 application I do not have handy. Anything missing in my timeline is info I did not track.
