green card marriage

hi, 
My green card marriage process with my husband fell through and we got denied for green card. We got denied because the uscis agent said that there were not enough documents for this green card processHowever, I'm still planning to get a job through work visa then work my way up to green card. Can this denied marriage green card affect my chance to get work visa in the US? We don't know if we are able to file a petition against this denial because it costs lots of money and time and we can't afford another large amount of money. I would appreciate your thought on this.

Yes it can effect your chances. What documents didn't you send off?

Not sure at what stage your case was denied. Anyway, you don't get a job thru work visa, you get the work visa thru the job. If it's established that your intent is just to get the green card whether thru marriage or thru employment, you might be denied the work visa. 

 

The way you are easily giving up on your marriage just because your case is denied brings lots of doubt in your marriage and gc processing and might hamper any future applications.

You should probably educate yourself on how the work visa process goes. Not to mention the green card is not often offered via the work visa. It all depends on the employer. Work visas are usually temporary which means of your employment period is over (I think it's like 3 years?) you are put of status and have to leave USA. Do you have any special skills or education that would have you eligible for the work visa? Kind of sounds like a green card fishing for me.

I would imagine it would need to be a work visa that allows dual intent?
