Just called and got our interview date!!    Scan date: 6/22/17 CC: 8/25/17 Interview: 10/19/17    YAY! 7 more weeks of this!

Meeee!! Plus it doesn't help I'm stuck in this hurricane and bored since Friday! I saw someone say they'll be giving October dates next week but how do they have that information? I wasn't able to verify that. Not sure where that info comes from. Anyone have any ideas?

05/6/2017: NOA2, did not receive electronic notification

05/12/2017: Received NOA2 via snail mail 

05/18/2017: Notification received on App that case was sent to NVC

06/01/2017: Received case and invoice number via phone

06/06/2017: Received e-mail with case and invoice number, fees paid

06/20/2017: DS-260 submitted and AOS/IV package sent 

06/22/2017: Scan Date

08/23/2017: Case in Review Department

08/25/2017: Case Complete 

10/19/2017: Interview (Approved!!)

10/24/2017: POE - Houston, Texas

Oh, no, sorry to hear you're stuck in the hurricane :( stay safe!

 

Well, it's "common knowledge" on VJ that the NVC has been consistently giving out dates either right in the middle of the month or in the last couple / first couple days of the month... so personally I was more so expecting them to start giving out dates sometime this week. Not sure where they got info of next week.

 

A lady from NVC did tell me yesterday that they would start soon but silly me didn't think to ask what soon meant lol

Please stay safe. Did you try calling NVC? You might get lucky with the info.

Ahhh ok! I wasn't aware. I guess I've been so focused on getting the CC I didn't pay close attention to details about interview dates! I might try calling NVC in a bit. 

 

Thankfully I left the south side of Houston to come stay with my aunt where we have been safe, dry and comfortable since Friday. Unfortunately, many of my friends and people in Houston haven't been so fortunate. It's nonstop on the news and my Facebook feed. I feel so awful for everyone....

Dont you just hate it when you call NVC and the representatives come off as "rude" 😕 lol

My CC was Aug 10 and I was calling to see if they have my interview date yet but nopeee lol she did not want to give me any info
