We requested an expedite, and NVC forwarded the request to the local US Embassy. The US embassy agreed (we emailed the US embassy separately as well), and now NVC is forwarding our documents to the local US Embassy which will be handling our case going forward. I'm not sure what that means, as we don't have a case complete yet (we submitted a checklist document end of July). I hope this makes things move faster because we lost a lot of time due to the checklist.

@JBMG Not sure how this fits into the spreadsheet!

Hi, on the spreadsheet, your CC would be the day you received notification (verbal or written) that your expedited request was approved. In the notes section of the questionnaire, explain that your case was expedited.

Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire.

Regarding your case, your embassy will approve/verify that you have all the correct documents.. The NVC is no longer responsible for that.. @KaurN  and a few others on our spreadsheet also had their expedited cases approved.

So congrats for finally leaving the NVC process..

Meanwhile, you can head over to the following forum, joining others who are waiting for an OCTOBER interview date and preparing for their interviews. Please read the first post, very informative info in there. See you there.

CHECKLIST....K folks, need your help!  This is what I received!

______PASSPORT:____________________________________________________
Please submit a copy of the biographic data page of this person's
passport, including the expiration date of the passport. The
passport must be valid.

Does this mean I didn't send it/or they lost it??  Is this simple enough for supervisor review?

I can send it to them, or take with me to the interview. I don't know what to do. It was almost over, and now this. So frustrating...

Sounds like you have a choice.  I do not seem to have a choice.

Sadly I think that's normal, because I got two checklists throughout my case: the first one said to send the document in and the second said I could bring the document to the interview... even though they were both simple, straightforward docs...

From what I've seen on VJ I think it could either be that you didn't send it in or that they lost it, I don't know if that changes the outcome though...

As to whether what they requested is simple enough for supervisor review I'll let others answer as I have no experience with that :/ - wishing you luck though! I know how frustrating it is to get email from NVC and it be a checklist :(

Sending in a copy today.  I called and requested they re-review my packet.  I am 99% confident I sent it.  They said it could take 6 weeks to re-review.  Is this a "supervisor review"?  Anyone have any luck with a "supervisor review"?

I did supervisor review...it took one week and the supervisor came to the same conclusion that the first reviewer did. My advice is to go ahead and just send whatever they're asking for.

You would have to get in touch with the embassy to schedule your appointment. Bring all the checklist documents with you to the appointment. What does your CEAC status say?

So sorry you got a check list.. Looks like they lost it if you're 100% sure you sent it in.. Did you write your case number on every copy/document you sent in? Or it could be they don't have the right version? def suggest calling the NVC to verify what happened...

Me again, which passport are they asking for? The Petitioners or the Beneficiary?

CEAC still says "Action required: Submit requested documents", but we have been informed via email by both the NVC and the Embassy that the case is moving to the Embassy. This was only yesterday though, so it might take a week or two for the documents to get to the Embassy according to NVC. Once the documents get here, we will ask to have an interview scheduled.
