Hi

I know this is my second post today, but we've just figured out that this is not the "oldschool" i134 form, and are wondering if that's got something to do with it. I hope you don't mind the repost.

We're about to submit (a couple of) i134s for the interview portion of my K1 application. We're having some trouble filling out the forms for my fiance's parents (the cosponsors) as they are retired, and the new i134 form (they updated it last year, I believe) only has a section for employment (either traditional or self employed), and then an "additional information" section, at the end, which could theoretically be appropriate, but we're not sure.

Here's a link to the form: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-134.pdf

What I'm trying to figure out is:

* How do her parents note that their income is from a pension fund and not a job? There is no option for "unemployed".

* How does my fiance note that she is an unemployed student? See above, re: no option for "unemployed".

* Which salary should my fiance put down for herself? She earned money last year, but is unemployed now.

Thank you again.
