How long does it take to get a response for RFE

Hi on the 4th of may I got a response latter to the RFE I submitted saying:

" On May 4, 2017, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxx

Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. 

We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you."

 

And up until now I haven't heard anything how long do do you think it will take to get a response from them?

What do you mean? They won't give you a response before they give you new RFE, deny, approve or call you for interview.

He responded to the RFE that I submitted but I haven't heard from them ever since

You did here from them they told you they have received your RFE and they will continue to work on your case.

That's what am say I have heard anything other thing after that it's been almost a month now

And as I wrote above you won't hear anything else until they give you a new RFE, they deny, they approve or call you for an interview.

 

You are just in normal timeline again. Why did you send in your package? (Not RFE but your AOS package)

Then you have some time to go yet. 

 

Try and be patient. 

 

Also if you do get interview (don't know what visa you are adjusting from) then TX have almost a year wait.
