You say that like you are the only one here who does that.  I do that for a living and I do it very well. I am sure there are others here that have some expertise in doing things faster, cheaper better.

I didn't say others didn't do this as well.  I only said this was not going to stop because we pulled out of some symbolic agreement.

i had no idea you were such a nihilist. there's no point to government period from this slant.

i don't think we're supposed to trust politicians, i think we're supposed to hold them accountable so it's difficult to be publicly untrustworthy.

The hold them accountable.  All of them, not just the ones that have a grating personality.

the pressing issues with trump are not that he has a grating personality, if that's what you meant by that. that being said, being capable of at least pretending you're a decent human being capable of functioning as an adult in social settings comes in handy when you're representing a country of 321 million people on the world stage. from what i've seen thus far of trump, i honestly believe he pulled out of this because he knows his base would think it cool that he had the gumption to do the exact opposite of what everyone else was doing, simple (and childish) as that.

For liberals this is easy, they want a candidate who, like Obama, says all the things they want to hear publicly, then privately gives them the finger. Liberals love you so long as you're articulate and proclaim to follow their philosophy. The thing is, conservatives aren't to dissimilar, but at least they get fed up of this cult of personality after a while. The left are the easiest demographic to market to, business-wise and politically, because they're 100% led by emotion, as seen with their overly emotional arguments.

 

Each President.. Obama, and Trump, know their niche, and are/were effective at marketing to it. It's clear what the strategies are to get the votes of each demographic they were placating to.
