CR1 interview soon ,Marriage is over 3 years, Now What?

We have CR1 reaffirmed interview coming soon, but our is more than 3 years, what do we need to do or say at the interview? Any clue VJ members?

No one can tell you what to say as every interview is different and personal. The best thing you can do is prepare. 

 

- Read through the Consulate Reviews on this site. They will give you an idea for how interviews go at the Ghana embassy. 

- Go over questions with your spouse. 

- Did you frontload your case? If so you should take evidence from between submission and now. If you didn't, you should submit anything that shows you have a real relationship. The best evidence is time together, so proof of trips. Chats and call logs are good. Also letter of support from family and friends. If you have any accounts, property or if you've included you spouse on things like life insurance, 401k or health insurance, consider submitting that as well. 

- Make sure your spouse knows what evidence was submitted. My husband's questions came directly from what we submitted at the different phases. 

 

Good luck! It's a tough embassy, so prepare as much as you can.

Nobody knows what they will ask !!!!
That depends entirely on your circumstances as each couple has different and unique circumstances.

Likely they may ask questions that led to your previous refusal and return and what you returned with the NOID/NOIR

request.

We do not know your detailed life's story and can't tell you what will be asked.

Have updated financial evidence, taxes etc. and ongoing relationship proof and hopefully visits while you waited
for reaffirmation. Be on the premises for the interview and have your spouse tell them you are waiting outside.

Bring all new evidence to the interview if you front loaded bring any new evidence after you sent the petition.

Ebunoluwa, I equipped my wife with a lot of proofs of our bona fide marriage, like warranty deed (For our house we bought here in the US), Life Insurance with her as beneficiary, letters from friends both here and Ghana, Bank statement, etc....Photos of us together at occasions , phone chats, money gram receipts, Itinerary and boarding pass for my trips to Ghana since denial in 2015. What do you think? The only thing is that, I can't back to be with her at the interview, I just came back some few months ago. I hope she pass this time. Please your prayer

Yes, all good evidence. You can add wills, living wills, power of attorney, receipts from your trips to her and charges on your cc if any.
Everything and anything that puts you both in the same place at the same time as often as you were able to.
I am positive for your approval this time around.
