k2 help

I have made an effort to find my answer but there is not a link, nor a topic that gives me the answer I need. Ill try to be brief.

 

Wife got her k1 visa in November 2016, came to USA December 2016

We were married within the 90 days. March 2017

They are processing her adjustment of status as we speak in Chicago I485. Awaiting biometric appointment, fee check has cleared. 

 

When we filed her original paper I129f we included her (now our) two children in the application.

 

They did not go to the interview with her (follow to join theory). They remain in Colombia

 

As soon as she gets her EAD card (following biometrics) she is going to Colombia to get our children

 

HOW DO I GET THE CHILDREN age 11 and 9?

 

The children have a passport. I filled out a D160 for them, but when I try to set up an appointment, the K2 is not even an option.

 

Please help (the city the children are in has turned very bad lately)

 

My wife cannot have her passport and EAD card in hand with the original 129F listing them and just leave colombia with the children and passport?

You have 1 year from K-1 issue date to do the K-2 otherwise she will need to do I-130 Petition of alien relative.

Just call the embassy and tell them you want to set up an interview date for her 2 kids on K-2.

You will need to do the I-160 and have their medical done and pay visa fees for each of them.
