Transferring a case to London

I'm a UK citizen, currently living in Spain. When we filed the petition we thought I'd need to go for the medical and interview in Madrid, but actually I am hoping to return to the UK soon and would like to do things in London if at all possible. Madrid have said that a transfer of my case would be possible if London requests one. The problem? I can't seem to make contact with London. I've tried using the online contact form, but have received no response, and the phone number provided only goes to a robot switchboard that recites information but wouldn't let me connect to an agent. Does anybody have any advice for getting hold of a real person at the embassy in London?
