USC changing name while waiting for AOS to be approved

Hi guys,

 

We got married 22 April and filed our AOS earlier this month and we've received our NOA. 

 

I am the USC and was wondering if it'd be okay to go ahead and change my legal name while our AOS is being processed or whether I should wait until my husband has his EAD or even green card?

 

This has probably been asked a million times, sorry. 

Removal of Conditions

08/14/2019: I-751 mailed
08/20/2019: I-751 delivered to Phoenix
08/26/2019: Check cashed 
08/29/2019: 18 month extension letter received 
01/08/2019: Biometrics completed
 

Naturalization

07/29/2020: N-400 submitted online

12/21/2020: Interview date

09/29/2016: Interview date, APPROVAL 

10/14/2016: Visa ISSUED

10/17/2016: Visa received

 

AOS
12/22/2016: I-485, I-131, I-765 Sent

01/10/2017: Check cashed

02/03/2017: Biometrics completed

04/17/2017: Your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

01/20/2018: I-485 Interview letter received

02/01/2018: I-485 Interview, APPROVAL

I guess nothing??
