My husband has been in Mexico since March 24th. He had his interview scheduled for March 29th 2017. However because of the delay with the medical results (tuberculosis testing) he was told he could not got to that interview and would have to wait until results from medical was in which will be today June 1st 2017. They are sending results directly to consulate in Ciudad Juarez. On the form from the medical place they say we have to schedule his appointment within five days of June 1st. I went online and rescheduled his appointment for June 5th. I printed out that paper showing the rescheduled interview and he has his original appointment letter that was sent to him back in Feb 2017. When I call into the consulate or their call center I guess they say I have to wait for a new appointment? Is this right? Why if I already rescheduled his interview successfully and I still have his original appointment letter that he can take with him? Anyone have any experience with this? I am at a lost and I really want him to go to the appointment on the 5th if he can. He has already done fingerprinting when we first went there back in March. The Medical clinic says the results have already been sent to the consulate I just feel like I am not getting correct information somewhere. Please help! I have attached the letter from medical.LETTER FROM MEDICAL CLINIC.pdf

I don't have experience with the TB portion, but I do know that for my husband's medically expedited interview, the consulate told me that I needed to wait for an appointment to be set up, but I went online and scheduled it anyway and we had absolutely no problems - he just went to the information window at CDJ one day before to print his "interview letter" and then attended the interview the next day. I would keep your appointment and just go... the worst that could happen is he would show up and they would say you need to wait, right?

Also, I just read the letter and it seems that you've followed it 100% correctly. I would definitely go to your appointment.

Thank You for your feedback. I am sending him with the new rescheduled appointment  printout and his original interview letter. I am just waiting for the Consulate to update the records that they have his medical results which should be today or tomorrow. I can't be with him this time because of work so I am anxious about how this is going to go!

I went through the TB test, I, too, was given a letter stating I had 5 days to schedule the appointment, otherwise I'd have to take the medical exam again. I called everywhere because I couldn't schedule my appointment. I finally spoke with a person who told me that once the doctors' office send the results, the consulate has 5 business days to review them (the same 5 days that the doctors' office refer to, just in a different way), Once my results were processed, I received an email with a new appointment date, I had 10 days to find hotel and air ticket.

It could be possible if your husband goes on the 5th, they'd have his results and file ready, if he's in Juarez, he can try. Very good luck!

Thank you for your feedback. I am hoping that is the case, because of that letter I scheduled his appointment for the 5th and he is flying into Juarez this Sunday. This has been costly. I am praying that even if they have not reviewed his results yet that they would at least let him do the interview and get it out of the way and just put the case on hold until they do review the results that way he does not have to fly back again for a third time. God willing it will happen this way on Monday. As a side note the medical facility really should change the wording on their letter because it is really misleading.

Another question how long did it take them to email your appointment letter?

I set up my ais.usvisa-info.com account with my email, so I got an email notification 4 days after the clinic sent the results, the letter went to the address in the US, not the address in Mexico. They gave me an 11-day notice, I was hoping to get at least 2 weeks, to save on air fare. Good luck

His status on CEAC already shows ISSUED so I am hoping within the next couple of weeks he will be receiving his package at the DHL office and he will be able to come home finally! :)
