Went to Manila Embassy last Monday hoping to get an official letter from them requesting HK and SG for police clearance. Guards didn't let me in the Embassy but gave a paper with email adress and contact number. They said i should email them which i did. I got a reply which says:

"Thank you for writing to US Visa Service Desk.

"We understand that you would like to seek assistance in securing Police Certificate from other countries. Please be advised that country-specific information on how to secure police certificates is available on the State Department’s website at http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/reciprocity-by-country.html.
We request you to provide us with your valuable feedback through the questionnaire in the link below.
Your time and cooperation are highly appreciated.
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RF7JXPY
We look forward to receiving your feedback to help make our services better. "

I have checked the site but no instruction on how to secure police clearance.

My question now is, where can i get this request letter? To those who experienced this please help. I am hoping and praying to get this clearances before my July 3rd interview. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. God bless you all

Hi,

For COC from Singapore Police Force (SPF) you can read here (they have e-services for COC) http://www.police.gov.sg/e-services/apply/certificate-of-clearance

I did obtain COC back in 2013, and I did it all by mail. However, seems they have changed the procedure and allowing applicants to do this online. Though you do need to send hardcopy/original fingerprint impression to them. For this, I went to get my finger printing at the Indonesian National Police and got it done. Further details you can call SPF or email.

I did call them several times to make sure the fees went through, and asked for a case number from them.

Member of Public may contact Criminal Record Office at:

Tel : (+65) 64358277 (between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Singapore time (GMT +8), from Mondays to Fridays, excluding Public Holidays)
Email : SPF_CID_COC@spf.gov.sg

hope this helps

Hi,

i secured both Singapore and Hongkong Police Clearance..  For SG,  you can log in to www.police.gov.sg/e-services/apply/certificate-of-clearance. basically you need copy of items listed below:

SingPass and/or Foreign Identification Number (FIN)

Scanned documentary proof indicating that a COC is required and for what purpose

  • e.g. letter from embassy, overseas offer letter for employment/education, etc (i used the NOA2 for this)

Scanned biometric page of applicant’s valid passport

Scanned Identification Document (ID), front and back

  • e.g NRIC, Work Permit, etc

Scanned or digital passport-sized photograph

Valid Credit/Debit Card (VISA/MASTERCARD) or i-Banking account for online payment.

Original hardcopy fingerprint impressions (Optional)

  • applicable only for applicants residing overseas who are required to mail the hardcopy fingerprints with eCOC Acknowledgement Slip
  • fingerprint impressions refer to fingerprints of right and left thumbs, and the 4 fingers of both the right and left hands (you can visit the PNP crime laboratory for your fingerprint...i can't exactly remember but i guess it cost P120. Pls secure 2 copies to include your HK application)

FOR HK Application:

-A completed application form (Fingerprint Consent, Application for No Criminal Conviction and Certificate of No Criminal Conviction Application Data Collection)

-A photocopy of Hong Kong Identity Card  and valid Travel Document (passport visa stamp)

-A photocopy of a letter from the United States of America Consulate in the Philippines that indicates that the production of the Certificate is required. (NOA2)

-A photocopy of the documents from National Visa Center (NVC) proving my relationship with the Principal Applicant (Petitioners' name ) for the application that states both our names. (NOA1)

-A full set of  fingerprints taken and certified by Philippine National Police, Crime Laboratory.

-A bank draft to the amount of USṨ41 payable to "The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region".

you can mail it to:

The Commissioner of Police
(Attn.: EO CNCC)

Police Headquarters, 1 Arsenal Street,
Wan Chai, Hong Kong

Thank you Emily and Geowrian. One more question.  On requirement #2 Hongkong requirements states letter from NVC. My fiance hasn't received any mail yet, we got our case number when he called. Question is, can i just send a copy of NOA2 and screenshot of CEAC "READY" status instead?

Hi, we applied online on October 21, 2016 and I snail mail my fingerprint papers right away. On November 12, I got an email that my application has been approved. I got the police clearance after 2 weeks since they have to send it to my address through snailmail.

Thank you!!! I noticed you're from the PH too. Where did you get fingerprinted? From what I've researched on forums, it's only at Camp Crame QC.

[edit] oops, sorry i overlooked that info on your post. looks like im going there soon too!

You're welcome and good luck... it's a lengthy process but just hang on...🤗

Hi it's me again! Just to confirm, you only used the NOA2 for the e-application of police clearance and nothing else? We just received our NOA2 and nothing in there tells you to get documents / police clearances.

Hi, that’s right, I only used NOA 2 for that. That’s can be considered as “letter from the embassy” and proof that you’re processing something that requires clearance... well at least that’s how I understand and it worked😊
