Can you please give us more input on the police report. We are so confused. I have read that it has to be from Fiscalia General Del Estado but if you can't get it from there then it has to be from the Dirección General de Sanciones. It says a Stamp at the top fiscalia general del estado Oaxaca which is from the town where hes from and in the letter it confirms no SE encontraron antecedentes penales. He said it's like local police but the consulate took it

The wondering if small police places have that stamp that say Fiscalia General Del Estado because there is an actual Main Fiscalia General Del Estado for each state. So did he had to get it because he lived more than 6 months after his 18th birthday?

He came here when he was 17 they made him get it anyway and they asked for it he said , I've heard others say they never asked but In Juarez they did.

No he just took the paper they gave him they didn't say anything about the translation

I believe it can be in the same language as the country you're in, but I'm not totally sure.

I figure it might be better to be safer and do it although it might cost some money.

Only birth certificate, but will get police cert too just in case. This guy on YouTube said they did ask for his translated.

USCIS allows people to translate their own but the link above for NVC says certified translator which stinks cause that means you have to pay someone for something you can do.

The only thing we had translated was his birth certificate and they didn't ask for that either.
