I (the beneficiary) and my husband want to go through a green card process after 2 years of marriage. We want to look at both of the positive and negative sides of these process. What could happen if we decided to let the marriage green card application fell through because we failed the green card interview? (The worst scenario I could image) What could be the consequences if I decided to obtain green card through work visa later? I would love to hear your advice and experience on this issue.

Yes my husband is USC and I'm on a F-1 student visa in the US. I still have couple 1-2 Years to finish my BS. We are facing long distance and my documents include joint bank account, joint phone bills, pictures of our messages and our wedding photo/vacation. I tried to compare our paper to other couples who also go through this process and it seems like we don't have as many documents as others do.

I wouldn't be too concerned with these details.

With the exception of the required forms (I-485, I-864, etc.) and evidence, the "proof" isn't as important as whether you are both in a bona fide marital relationship. If that's the case, you're fine. I, too, had this concern when facing all of the pitfalls of marrying someone from another country. A friend of mine encouraged me to proceed despite my concerns around paperwork and dealing with USCIS. His advice? "If your relationship is real, you won't have any trouble."

Hope that brings you some comfort.
