Its fine, I appreciate you saying that and I'm sorry it initially came off as heated.

 

I doubt that lack of social media would REALLY ever become problematic, just saying that if it did it would be pretty crazy.

Yes, totally but it happens and has happened way before this new push to use FB in a discretionary judgement to approve or deny.
When used as "scapegoating" it would be a lie and hiding another reason which is crazy but happens a lot.

Exactly so. I have read it here, do a search. There is no such policy but it is "gone rogue CO's" that have said so. Just because it's not policy doesn't mean CO's don't take it upon themselves to use their discretion to refuse the visa for not being able to view a FB account as public.  As usual you seem confused.

If he seems confused, it might be because you made a statement and refuse to substantiate it with evidence. It doesn't matter what anyone else said. Your statement was not made by quoting/citing anyone else, so stand up for your own arguments and quit trying to pass them off to others to substantiate for you.
