who expects a daughter to denounce her father of rape when he hasn't been found guilty of rape? seriously zero logic at play here.

Why are her comments hypocritical? Did she rape someone? Can't she speak about rape? Does she need to be grabbed by her genitals, before she is entitled to have an opinion, and voice it?

The hypocritical part of it is calling out a world leader about allegations while not acknowledging the allegations in her own family.

i'm sorry but, that dude is disgusting. why would you defend a person who treats rape, gang rape by soldiers no less?

why in the world would she bring up past accusations against her father? there is zero logic in that.

would love to know what you'd have accepted as proper admonishing - because as a woman, we don't need to assess all the males in our lives before we speak out against blatant violent misogyny.

It's not even a mansplanation. It's a lackluster answer from someone who can't defend a position, because there is no defense.

 

I don't see anyone putting Ivan-kah on her place when she goes around extolling her father's promoting women's values, when he's the one who, on camera, brags about assaulting women.

 

At least Chelsea is not praising her father for anything. She's only voicing her opinion, and the dictator didnt like it.

chelsea was never an "advisor to the president" either..if duerte was really a leader to be reckoned with, he never would have addressed the daughter of a failed presidential candidate in another country. but he's a man baby like his boi trump.

Yes, Chelsea is just a victim.  I get it.  I also agree, she certainly isn't worth acknowledging by a world leader.
