Wow Dinah!! @chamma just informed me via PM that you got your CC!!!!!! Wish you could see my smile on my face!! FINALLY!!! I'm so happy for you!!!  SO SO SO SO SO HAPPY !! If anyone has had a horrible experience with the NVC process, it's def you. With 3 scan dates..  Original SD being 9/22/2016.. Then your last one being 2/15/2017..  40 weeks from your original scan date ..  All for what?!?!  for a number being in the wrong place on the AOS..  I'm so SOOO glad you're finally over this hurdle.. Now you wait for your interview date!! And just in time as they're releasing August dates now!!!!  Thank you for already updating the spreadsheet!!

1st checklist for a stupid number 1 i put in the wrong box in the AOS even the total was right..

2nd checklist is because i did not sent another 12 pages AOS when i made the correction. I thought I only have to send that one page.

OMG.. was wondering if that was the case...  Do we have a confirmation that means "checklist"? Some people's screens kept on changing between that and the classic one??? 

 

I haven't been on the forum to read.. What is your checklist about?

I have the six steps but the rep did not inform me of a checklist...

I have the same 5 steps on my page...but my scan date is 5/17, I've had that screen for 3-4 days now

I was not told a checklist but, they saying I did not send in the Affidavit of Support with a "Document Cover Sheet on top" but received the IV with a Document Cover sheet. I know I sent them both in and he telling me that they did not received the "Affidavit of Support" that I have the resubmit it and wait another 11 weeks. So, I thinking the six steps that shows on your Immigrant Visa - Summary is a Checklist. I just very upset right now. Sorry, I have to go to sleep right now. I have to work graveyard tonight. @JBMGI just called NVC today June 30, 2017. Not good news. I have a six step on my Immigrant Visa - Summary. NVC - Rep. told me that I did not send in the Affidavit of Support. Which I did sent in the "IV" and the "Affidavit of Support" in separate envenlopes though, in one package as they requested, Though, the NVC - Rep. said; "that I did not send in the Affidavit of Support." I told him I sent in both in one envelope." He asked me if I sent in "Two" Document Covers sheets. I told him I only sent "One Document Cover sheet." So now he told me that they received two packages though, that they only received the "IV" package and not the Affidavit of Support. So He said; "that they do not have the Affidavit of Support" that I have to resend it and a Document Cover Sheet. The NVC - Rep. said; "I will have another 11 week wait." I am upset. I am not happy with them right now. I know that I sent the Affidavit of Support in but without a Document Cover Sheet and they are saying they do not have it. I just very upset with NVC right now. I can't call a Supervisor and talk with them because; my phone died completed and broken and I have not yet got paid yet. Just waiting tell payday to get a new phone. Though, I not sure what to do now. My Wife, is going to be very upset at me. I hope she, dose not leave me. I know she, loves me a lot. So, I just upset, tired of waiting, and anything else that comes to mind. So, I am asking you what should I do? I need some answers. Please help. Just because; I did not put a Document Cover Sheet on the Affidavit Support though, I put one on the IV. Now they are making me wait another 11 weeks. Thanks A.  James.  

NO!!! SOOO Sorry.. first off. You can call the NVC from your computer using "google hangouts". Search for it on the internet.. .You just to make sure your computer has a microphone or use a headset with a microphone.. (sure you got one with your cell phone when you bought it) 

 

Secondly, did you write your Case number on your original AOS form? 

 

My advice.. Send out your AOS form ASAP.. Also, try asking to expedite your request.. 

 

How to expedite at NVC?

Just to remind everyone to revisit the NVC Process Wiki, NVC Process Wiki

 

If by chance your expedite doesn't work, once they have your AOS, then ask for a supervisor to contact you.. Keep on calling until they can make this happen.. And hopefully you can get a supervisor to approve it for you..

If they say they lost it, it's lost.. too many people have been in the same situation.. So for now, you have to do 2 things.. Send out a replacement AOS ASAP.. 

 

Also submit a request to have your case expedited..

I haven't called yet, no change on the screens since the steps showed up. I am at work, waiting for a good time to call. I can't imagine what I would have a checklist for though, unless they lost something. I did write my case number on all sheets, minus the ones with the barcode.
