Wow didn't know you could get away with checklist. Reading all the other scenarios here I'm thinking I could have called NVC when i got a checklist for PCC and could have requested them that I could bring it to the interview. Another person here  was asked to bring it to the interview rather than sending it to NVC. I guess they can take such requests.

Oh Well! Here's a suggestion to all new checklist scans, please do call NVC and find out if you can bring the missing documents to the interview- never hurts to ask!

Congratulations @cadtousa

Thank you @Shugi ... supervisor reviewed proof of residency when my wife was on phone with her and completed my case. as it is not a big task.

Congrats cadtousa! I had the exact same checklist as you, one single document showing my visa status in Canada. I also tried the supervisor route and constantly got told there was none available and never got a call back. When I did eventually get through to a supervisor, he was unable to help me. In the end I gave up and I had to wait another 9 weeks. I'm glad to hear that your perseverance paid off!

Thanks @enigma992 . I know you went through this pain. but yes it is also luck to get a good person on other side who can feel our pain and work for us. NVC very unpredictable. Sometimes they help people but most of the time they stick with their weird rules for checklist that it needs to go through 11 weeks wait again.

Case is FINALLY under review.  I know that is not a CC, but it is one step closer.  Could still take a few days, but...gives a little HOPE!!! Keeping a closer eye now!

Hey Mellisa! When was your scan date ?

Hey Sd7, I need a favor!! I'm kind of having a freak out moment because I was scanning the El Salvador Reciprocity Schedule and noticed for marriage certificate it says, A "PARTIDA DE MATRIMONIO" -Certificado de Matrimonio- is the only valid marriage certificate.

We sent in the Registro De Matrimonio and the Escritura Publica. Is there a separate marriage certificate??? Would you potentially mind showing me what yours looks like or sending in a private message because I tried to google it and I can't find anything.

I called yesterday and today twice and try to talk with supervisor but no luck representative keeps saying need to wait for 6 or 11 weeks so frustrating with this wait time after check list
