yes we did mention the bank assets in addition to the employment details and last three years Income tax filing details. Well, we tried to avoid getting a RFE. But still slipped with the birth certificate and received RFE!

Thanks for clarifying - It makes sense now. Thanks for coming back to clarify on @NihalV's query and giving him more clarity.

No need to call as you'll get an email if you have a check list... Leave the phone lines open if you can. :)

You can follow these instructions to check your visa status.

My scan date 04th April.

Actually, I got a checklist in June 2nd week. got rejected for expedite last week as well.

And I was able to get out of it as it was only 1 document and we asked many supervisors to consider it. And finally, one nice supervisor helped us and made our day.

Congrats cadtousa! I had the exact same checklist as you, one single document showing my visa status in Canada. I also tried the supervisor route and constantly got told there was none available and never got a call back. When I did eventually get through to a supervisor, he was unable to help me. In the end I gave up and I had to wait another 9 weeks. I'm glad to hear that your perseverance paid off!

I have detailed my interview on the Consulate Review and attaching it here now.

I had my interview on 25th May and received my visa on 30th May. Paid the green card fee before departing for USA. My PoE was Boston and the experience was hassle free. The officer took the packet I was carrying from the consulate, made entries into the system and stamped my passport. No questions asked. The endorsed visa is considered as green card for 1 year and DoS is expected to print and mail the actual green card within 120 days of entry to USA. I received my Social Security Card within the first week of my arrival into USA.

Congratulations! It such a great feeling!

Wow didn't know you could get away with checklist. Reading all the other scenarios here I'm thinking I could have called NVC when i got a checklist for PCC and could have requested them that I could bring it to the interview. Another person here  was asked to bring it to the interview rather than sending it to NVC. I guess they can take such requests.

Oh Well! Here's a suggestion to all new checklist scans, please do call NVC and find out if you can bring the missing documents to the interview- never hurts to ask!

Congratulations @cadtousa

Thanks! Wouldn't they just say "the supervisor has up to 6weeks to review"? How did you get yours expedited?

when we receive the letter from NVC... they gave us instruction - in case we want our case to be expedited" we just followed that instructions I think everybody has that letter. I will talk with my wife to further information she did that part of the process
