I called and same old thing, It can take up to 6 weeks for a supervisor to review and spoke to a supervisor and said I can only expedite if there's a serious medical reason why. One week in 5 more to go

when you call to NVC you just ask to talk with supervisor? I want to talk with supervisor but no luck

No first explain your case to representative and tell them that is under supervisor review and I want to talk with supervisor regarding my case. So tell them to please forward it to them. If they say yhey are busy then tell them to give you a call back.

I hope this helps.

It depends on the embassy they may or may not be sympathetic. I was able to expedite my case at the NVC because of that reason (I am also a student) but generally it is medial emergencies only. I decided not to expedite it because of how the NVC is with them and my embassy is tough.

I try to expedite but embassy denied my reason i have a new born so I was hoping my husband would be here before I come back to work.... I can't believe it they denied too bad luck how you expedite case at NVC?

I am in the same boat got checklist about birth certificate but I think they make a mistake because birth certificate meets all the requirements in the reciprocity page anyways lawyer sent a letter explaining that is the only birth certificate we can provide so NVC received mail on June 9, also call on june 16 and my case now is under supervisor review also last Friday ask for expedite case but they denied

"Thank you for your patience. We sent your request to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in BOLIVIA. However, they cannot expedite this case. To be fair to all applicants, the Department of State schedules immigrant visa interviews in the order that the cases complete processing at the NVC.

We will continue to work with you on this case. After we receive the required fees and review the documents, we will schedule a visa interview appointment."

how do you ask to speak with a supervisor? every time that I call I ask to talk with supervisor without luck :( same answer it takes up to 6 weeks for supervisor to review

I feel you
