That's great news. You can schedule appointment while you're visiting family. It takes hardly 7-8 mins of processing and some time for waiting for your number to be called. I reckon maximum 1 Hr.

I am I am going to schedule it in next week. will bring an Original passport , attested photocopy of first & last page of passport. anything else is needed ? like NOA2. ?

So my case was sent to the NVC the 25th of May.. I still haven't heard anything from the NVC. When should I start calling to see if they have recieved my packet?

Try today if you have proof of delivery and know it is there. Systems take time to update.

Okay I see, ya its been 12 weeks now.

They finished the initial review process for it two weeks ago but found out that one of the documents had incorrect information.

I did send them the correct one immediately and they confirmed they received it last Friday.

The confusing thing is I called them today, and they said it will take an additional 11 weeks now......but the letter they sent to me notifying me of the mistake with one of the documents states it will take them 30 days.....but the rep I spoke to said it was incorrect....so I am really confused and worried :(

Hey guys,

scan date: 11 May 2017

Estimated CC: 25 July 2017

So we've been 6 months apart now (again), what are some activities you do with your partner? My husband and I watch movies and series together, play scrabble and...you know...the other thing. Anyone else have fun browser games/ activities they enjoy with their long distance partner to kill the time waiting for CC?

Yes, include your welcome letter. But also write a short letter explaining what it is, why you're sending it. Write your case number on each document you send in. ;)   If you could send in copies of the complete police report, that would be ideal.

Wow!! My status has changed.. "AT NVC" and AOS info is gone!!  But I can't get connected to the NVC... It's so surreal.. to have been watching everyone get CC's for so long to finally make it!! Well i need to confirm it with the NVC first.. But it looks like it's def a CC. :)
