Ethiopia allows electronic processing, Addis Ababa...

ADD!! You should have opted for the EP it's way faster. Anyway scan date is the date Nvc received your supporting documents.

Apparently they allow email processing but not electronic processing (like uploading docs to the website) but I missed this. And, once you mail you can not switch to email

Yeah, it will restart once they receive your new documents. Since you're doing that, read the following to make sure no other changes are needed. Congrats on catching that now. :-)  just make sure you include your cover page, and write your case number on every document.

Does this mean we send the ENTIRE package again? Or just the correct document?

I would send the correct document. ;) But make sure you include the cover letter with your case number on it (should have received it from the NVC). And write your case number on the birth certificate. And write/date/sign a letter to explain why you're sending the new document..

Also, maybe to put you at further ease, call the NVC on Monday, ask them for their advice/instructions.

Hello everyone,

Is anyone here familiar with NVC expedite process?

How much time does it take to get a response when you send an email for expedite?

@MD11PILOT  posted the following on our spreadsheet.  "Called NVC to check on timeline. After speaking to an operator for a few minutes was advised to send an expedite request. I didn't really think it would work, but thought the worst they would say is no. Received a response that it was under review within 24 hours. Expedite request was accepted by LDN and was was emailed within 48 hours of original email. Reason for expedite was childrens schooling."

I think it would be better to send in all. But it is best to ask @UsSwedlover or the NVC. I think @UsSwedlover sent in the entire packet within the first week of his first scan date. I guess he had sent in an incorrect document first time.

Hope you find your answers. Good Luck.

You'll be able to in a few days but you won't be able to actually pay the fees until you get the email from them. I was worried too but as soon as the email hit my inbox the fees opened up and I was able to pay.

Thank you so much!

@chamma how mch was your wifes medical in trinidad?

This could be a topic itself. Global prices are very different - medical costs in Switzerland are SFr 600 plus admin fees plus injections of c.SFr 140 ..... so not expecting much change from SFr 800.

UK London opens at GBP 250 plus
