Def contact your embassy and see what they say... Not sure if the NVC customer service rep would  know the answer but you could try contacting them as well...  You want to make sure use you're submitting the correct version. And if there are any incident on the police report, submit any court records.

check out the following .

I don't see any others on the list for El Salvador, but I looked up some other on Visa Journey and it looks like for mine it's one year, but I will be calling NVC and checking the website with specific embassy information just to make sure! Thanks for your response!

Congratsss!!! :) What was you scan date?

Have you had a chance to look at our spreadsheet? Open to all NVC scan dates in 2017 (mail, email, CEAC upload)

NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017 (save this link in your browser)

Please visit the following, this will update the spreadsheet with your info.

NVC Case Status Questionnaire -  2017

VERY IMPORTANT: please keep your confirmation email to edit your status as your case moves along.. Yes, You CAN bookmark the questionnaire link but only after opening it up via email. I have no access to resend your original questionnaire to you. Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire

If you have lost your questionnaire, you can redo it, I'll delete the duplication.

Yours took exactly 8 weeks! So happy for you. Good luck with the interview 😊

Thank you!  I honestly wasn't expecting any action this week.  Very glad this part is over with.  I also plan on attending the interview as well.  I can't wait!  It's been many months since I have seen my husband and stepdaughter.  I will be very glad to see them for this final step. :D

Hello Lumeyer;

I thought the same too. That if Police record is clean, then, you don't need court record. But it's Not true, some people got checklist because they haven't submitted court record. So I just submitted both to avoid checklist and more waiting. I would recommend to send both to avoid cheklist. We can't assume anything with NVC. so just submit both and save time and frustration

Hello everyone,

Congrats to all who got CC this week.

Is anyone here familiar with NVC expedite process?

How much time does it take to get a response when you send an email for expedite?

(second) Scan Date: April 11th

Case Complete: June 13th

Yay - such a relief! I first sent my documents to NVC in early January so it has been a tough 5.5 months but finally just got off the phone with a case complete.

For those with Employment Based Green Card applications, like mine, there is no way to tell online if your case is complete. It has said "At NVC" since January and has not changed since I got my case complete today. This is different to what people are reporting for the marriage based green cards.

Hi buddy,

congrats for CC. it was tough long wait for you. finally you got it.
