now that's interesting.. no idea.. Wonder how they determine a local office if we applied from abroad.. Maybe they ask you at the POE where you'll be living..

there will be a piece of paper stick outside the package

and the address on it will be the one they send u the green card

if u moved, u just told the POE custom, they will correct for u right away (correct the paper stick outside the package)

besides, if u have USCIS account, u can change address online too

I changed online and asked customer to correct it for me on the paper outside of package too

the USCIS website is chaos, here is the website I used

Congratulations. I got it within 2 days of my CC. Hope you have the spreadsheet URL (created by @JBMG). The interviews are scheduled when embassy shares the Open slots & NVC assigns you one. Good Luck!

Congratulations!

They need only transcripts. They usually ask the latest transcript, unless NVC has asked you to carry others. Wait for your P4(interview letter) to have the entire list of what you need to carry.

Yes, you have to pay. But not at the embassy - you can pay it online. You need the A number to pay it. A number would be given to you after an approved interview.

Very useful Information. Thank You

I didn't get an interview letter. I called the embassy to schedule my interview and all they did was send me an email with an appointment confirmation. Should they be sending me something else? Also NVC sent me an email after sending our case over to the consulate and that email said to take any documents on the checklist to the interview.

Firstly was your case expedited? If Yes, Sorry - I missed that.

If NVC has sent across the documents - then please stick to it.

Whats your interview date? I do not see it updated on your timeline. & which consulate? Are you using the spreadsheet created by @JBMG?

Hello everyone I haven't posted in a while.  My husband and I have terrific news.  Our case qualified for expedition last week.  We received email notification that our file has been mailed to US EMBASSY IN JAMAICA they will make contact once they receive our file to schedule my husband's interview so he can schedule his doctor exam.  Yay.. it has been a long wait.  I am so glad I decided to go ahead and put an expedite request based on my health and needing to get my husband home.  Soon as he gets home I will have to schedule my double hip replacement surgery.  hope he is home by first -2nd week in August if not b4!

@ARBIGRED1 So very happy for you guys.

Thank you so much!  Long journey.   I'm happy to hear so many getting case complete wonderful news.  We still originally had about 7 more weeks of waiting for NVC to review our file. So I was happy to see they moved us along.  Our 1 year anniversary is July 5th...we will miss celebrating together but I pray not much longer now.
