Yes.. nobody can depict what would happen.. all you can do is prepare for the best!  

 

More is less... so have as much documents you can should be the motto!

The agent listed on the DS 260 receives notifications.  In our case, I (petitioner) received notifications.

My file was received at Embassy in New Delhi on 8th June and I could see that as the date when case was last updated. However now it shows 20th June which is same date when they sent email to my husband (the agent and petitioner of the case).

 

So you can figure out from that also if they have done anything on your file. @chamma

You are right. My husband is the agent as well as petitioner in my case.

We need some expert to answer this question. Per my opinion they look for the gross income. Taxes are calculated on that.

Your interview was much ahead of us so, quite fair off the consulate not to insist on the actual tax filing documents. But I don't think they are gonna follow the same approach to the cases where we have reached the tax filing month and can easily provide the documents. Being over prepared is always better..
