Called the NVC to ask about July interview dates.. She said they're done, they're waiting on August dates which should be given out at the end of the month... This seems about right as this is what happened last month.. First 1-2 weeks, wave of interview dates, then some stragglers throughout the month.. Hope all those waiting for an interview date receive it on the next round.. :)

Congratulations on the cc. I am sure you will have an August interview.

Hello, Just sent the following email message to those of you on this forum thread who are not already on our spreadsheet. Inviting 67 of you to add yourself to our spreadsheet. We have several April/May/June cases where they're the only one from their country. With your info/add, this will help them get a better idea of CC processing times and interview scheduling.. Also, if you had a checklist, sharing your experience could help those that haven't sent their docs to the NVC.. OR already have but still have time to resubmit the correct documents.

Thank you THANK YOU for your help.

Hello, not sure how we have missed you. We've been collecting scan dates since March. It's been extremely helpful for us to see what to expect with the NVC from SD to CC, to interview date. If you could join us on our spreadsheet, your history will help us better understand when we could receive our CC's and interview dates.

Here is our spread sheet. NVC Case Status Spread Sheet -  2017

Please visit the following, this will update the spreadsheet with your info.

NVC Case Status Questionnaire -  2017

If you have yet to receive your interview date.  It's VERY IMPORTANT to keep your confirmation email from "google forms". With that email, you can edit your status as your case moves along.. Yes, You CAN bookmark the questionnaire link but only after opening it up via email. I have no access to resend your original questionnaire to you. Here are instructions on .

Thank you, THANK YOU for your contribution. :)

ps. When you've added yourself to the spreadsheet, you can remove yourself from the group email or I can do it. Thanks again. :)

Thanks @swimgrl8259 @roodmail1 @enigma992 @parsha @erg420 @Cat_Dad @alicia98981 for adding yourself to the spreadsheet :)

Alicia98981, I think it's a great sign that they took his passport, I would take it as a sign that they must believe that they're going to put his visa in it.. keep us posted.

roodmail1, you should get your passport returned with your visa within 10 days..  That's what seems to be the norm from what I've read on this forum.. But maybe some embassies are faster than others...

Done. Thanks. BTW If your guide had been in place 6 months ago I would have my green card by now most likely as i would not have gotten a checklist! But hopefully it will help others avoid checklists in future, especially since it was for something that the NVC didn't list as required in any of their documentation(proof of visa status in Canada for non Canadians).

@enigma992  When I started the spreadsheet, it listed just scan date and CC date, then it grew to what it is today..  Thanks to our VJ community who has been providing suggestions to alter it and by the repeated questions found on these forum threads.. I really hope that our spreadsheet does help others who are about to submit to the NVC or already have.. Because it's simply not fair what you and 50+ others have experienced.. There is clearly a problem with the communication from the NVC/embassies.. Doesn't make sense that nearly 1/3rd of our spreadsheet have had a checklist.. I hope you get your interview date soon.. Thanks again for your contribution and keep us posted regarding your interview date. ;)

Meanwhile, because of all the checklists, I've created the following forum which is just about checklists..

Hi All, I am new to this forum. I am hoping someone here has experience with I-864 at the interview and can help with my question below.

When I submitted the I-864 to NVC, I had not file the 2016 Tax so it included tax info for 2015 and past. My spouse interview will soon be scheduled and I am coming across different information on which I-864 to take to the interview. I recently filed my 2016 Tax so which I-864 will need to be taken to the interview.

- New I-864 that includes the 2016 Tax information

OR

- Copy of the I-864 that was submitted to NVC (which contains Tax info from 2015 and past)

OR

- Take both (new I-864 and the copy of the one submitted to NVC) to be on the safe side

I will like to avoid any issues at the interview so it will be great if someone has gone through similar situation and can share their experience.

Oh OK. What I meant was I was hoping to finally hear from the embassy this week so I can get an interview date in July or beginning of August. That way my husband can do the medical exam and all the other final steps that are needed. I'll keep you posted. If not I may send them an email.  (Fingers Crossed).

Hello, I'm preparing for my interview.

i got checklist, and I need to bring Corrected i-864 with me.

im really confused about that household size that we need to correct.

My husband lives with his parents and his dad is our joint sponsor.

Does on his household size need to be total 3? Joint sponsor, his wife, and me(beneficiary)

and on my husbands household size need to be 2? My husband(petitioner), and me(beneficiary).

sorry if this is not place for this question..

and when he printed online filed I-864 there was no barcode. Is it okay to send it to me like that? With no barcode.

My apologies. I have updated it. I added notes because I am not 100% sure which dates go where. Let me know if I need to change anything. Thank you so much for all your help.
