Awesome! that's great. Now, let the packing begin hehe. Btw, where are you headed to?

NVC finally told us our new interview date of July 11th.

I'm constantly paranoid that there may be another "system/booking error"..... so still calling them every other day to confirm/follow up.

I had a question for you. After you received the email for the appointment letter, did you get any other emails following that one? If so, what was the timeline for that? And also, when did your ceac status change from "At NVC" to "Ready"?

I'm headed to Austin. I can just imagine your paranoia. Totally sucks what happened to you.

Yes, I got a letter from the consulate to say they'd received my file. It came a few days after your interview was cancelled so when I first saw the email I instantly thought the worst. I can't recall how long it took for it to say 'ready' but around the time I received the email from the consulate. If your status has changed to at least in transit you should be fine. That's the first status change once your interview is booked.

And the the consulate will ask you to email them to reconfirm your interview. It's all in the email they send.

Good morning everyone from the beautiful state of Maine...my wife and I left her city of Cherkassy Ukraine yesterday and we arrived at Borispol airport in plenty of time for her flight.  My wife and I are expecting our first child in early September and because she is getting close to 26 weeks and her last medical checkup was at 24 weeks we had her doctor give us a paper saying she was good to fly, but Ukraine being Ukraine,  the women checking us in said it was not the right paper and she could not fly.  Anyways, after some very emotional yelling from my wife and pulling some more documents for my wife's pregnancy they finally let us fly.  After that it was all smooth sailing on to Boston.

We landed about 6:15pm or 18:15 for you non Americans...;) we may have been the only plane at that time because the lines were short. We waited maybe 15 minutes in line then went to the immigration officer.  He took her papers, very quickly looked at my passport, set it aside, went through her papers, gave back the medical CD they gave us and said he didn't need it...strange I thought because it said on the CD to give it to the immigration officer. Anyways, he stamps her passport, writes a few things, types a few things,  takes her finger prints and a picture. And said, "You are all set, have a good night". So I think maybe 10 minutes was all it was.  Things went so easy.  I would not say the immigration officer was friendly but he was nice enough.  Probably just the working on Friday evening blahs...

best of luck to all waiting couples! POE day can't come fast enough!

6 months since I saw my wife and child!

I see that your process is going really fast. Is there anything that you did to have your case processed faster?  I was told that I may have to wait up to 11 weeks for my AOS/IV package to be reviewed.
