It has been an hour already. I will update once it is done. I was charged 9500 INR for this procedure. I'm not sure if I'll be charged extra for vaccinations. Updates coming up.

The fee ar Rele clinic is 5000 + vaccination. So if they have charged 9k it should include vaccinations too. Good luck!!

Hello everyone,

We are almost there. I am just thankful.  Interview this month June 29th. It has been a long journey.  I wish everyone the best each and everyday.  I know we still have a journey but I am thankful we made it this far.  I just want my family together.  Be blessed everyone and don't give up.

I'm at Apollo in Surat, Gujarat.

Here, charges are 9500 + Vaccination. I was charged INR 2149 for MMR, TDAP & INFLUENZA.

Just completed my medical. Took about 2 hours.

Interview Date Notification - THEY STARTED GIVING OUT DATES!!

For those that have already received a CC, they've started releasing interview dates. If you're eager to find out what your interview date is, call the NVC to find out. 

 

Once you have called the NVC to confirm your interview date, please update your questionnaire with the day you received your interview date and the date of the interview. Here are instructions on how to edit/save the questionnaire.

Wow that's so quick. Here in Delhi they take a week to give the reports.

This may be a stupid question, but how come some people from the same country get interview dates while others don't?

Random example: there's 5 people from country X who got CC around the same time in May, but only 3 of them got interview dates. Is there a rule on how interviews get scheduled?

No, I didn't have any previous immunization records. I think based on the year you were born, they decide which all vaccinations you do not require? I don't know. They just asked me a bunch of diseases (whether or not I had them already and also if I was ever hospitalized or not).

I guess it depends on how many people they are addressing a day. Compared to Delhi; Surat is a very small City. I don't think they process nearly as many people as Delhi does. Also there was no need for any special tests in my case. May be that is the reason mine wouldn't take too long?

 

What I mean is there are cases in Surat as well where it takes longer than 3-4 business days to complete tests. They require some extra reports other than usual ones. I guess if you don't require that extra tests, yours may also take less than a week.

Got it..! They complete the medical examination including the vaccinations in 2 -3 hours however they never give the report on the same day. I got your point that number of people they attend makes the difference.

Does anyone know if I have to select a courier service before the interview or at the interview? If before, where do I do this?
