Checking In, called the NVC this morning was informed that my case was approved on June 2, 2017.

I have not received any e-mails informing me of this as of yet, and I am waiting on an interview date.

Any suggested wait time? NVC has been less than helpful when asked and I am ready to get this over with. I am 21, and in college and this is another stressor.

Best of luck to everyone on this thread!

My husband's interview is in 10 minutes!!! I can barely breathe waiting to hear from him!

All will be well,  figure for an hour or two for everything before he is done so you don't go crazy... :) You will be hearing good news soon.

If it is just you and your sponsor for a family of 2 then yes it is enough... That is above the 125% poverty guidelines.  If you have anyone else willing to add in would never hurt,  but you should be good.

Well, that was a difficult morning, but it's all worth it because we got my husband approved! I accompanied him to the interview, and I truly think it made a huge difference. I had all the marriage proof assembled and they didn't look at it at all. Very relieved right now, as the interview went pretty rough, but at the end he said all the papers were in order and he would issue the visa!
