I called them no results she said they are scheduling August dates but nothing yet for me. Montreal is not a good embassy very slow and lethargic. Always carry a backlog.

Hang in there. I got my interview quick after my cc. Montreal embassy is also good at getting back to your email inquiry. Include your case number and all information and they might tell you before the nvc gets to. So far I've gotten very quick responses

YAY!!!! BIG CONGRATS TO DINAH!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY GOT HER CC after 40 months stuck in the NVC.. PLEASE congratulate her.. She's been on one heck of a journey with the NVC!!!

Wow @Dinah!! Wish you could see my smile on my face!! FINALLY!!! I'm so happy for you!!! :) SO SO SO SO SO HAPPY !! If anyone has had a horrible experience with the NVC process, it's def you. With 3 scan dates..  Original SD being 9/22/2016.. Then your last one being 2/15/2017..  40 weeks from your original scan date ..  All for what?!?!  for a number being in the wrong place on the AOS..  I'm so SOOO glad you're finally over this hurdle.. Now you wait for your interview date!! And just in time as they're releasing August dates now!!!! :) Thank you for already updating the spreadsheet!!

To those that are curious what happened.. her words copied from previous post and pasted below.

===

1st checklist for a stupid number 1 i put in the wrong box in the AOS even the total was right..

2nd checklist is because i did not sent another 12 pages AOS when i made the correction. I thought I only have to send that one page.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!

Just rcv our P4 now!

NVC rep told me Aug 14. But P4 dated our interview to Aug 17!

We can do our medical next week!

Glad no appt needed here in my country.

1st come 1st served basis! And need to be on 3am or 4am if not long long long waiting...

I read that Saint Lukes extension Medical Center is lot of stress  for those who experienced done their med there!

Just received our p4 letter!! :)

Regarding AOS wet signature.. For us, it says it's ok to bring a copy of the signature for the AOS form. :)  Please look out for this on your p4 letter if in doubt!! :)

*** IMPORTANT *** Interview Reminders

================================================================================

You already submitted certain forms and documents to NVC. At your visa interview, you must give the

consular officer the original version of each civil document you submitted plus one photocopy for each

person applying for a visa. These original versions will be returned to you.

 The only form you do not need to bring to your interview is the Form DS-260 Application for an

Immigrant Visa. Instead, print a copy of the receipt page from ceac.state.gov showing you submitted the

form online.

 If a financial sponsor submitted an I-864 Affidavit of Support form, you must give the consular officer

a signed version. It can be a photocopy, but the signature cannot be typed or electronic.

 If you do not bring to your interview the original version of all civil documents submitted to NVC, the

consular officer will reschedule your interview.

Please use the helpful checklist on the next page to prepare for your interview. You can also visit

"Interview Preparation - Required Documents" on nvc.state.gov/interview or watch our instructional

video at nvc.state.gov/resources for more information.

Awesome!!! :jest:

Hi guys! Well my interview is on july 10, and im planning to resign on my job by july 4. do you think it will affect my interview approval by the consul? since they said that "You should not make permanent financial commitments, such as selling your house, car or property, resigning from your job or making non-refundable flight or other travel arrangements until you have received your immigrant visa.".

I wanna know since i still need to render 30 days after i pass my resignation letter. they wont allow.me to resign immediately! Thanks for your answer guys!
