Have my interview on 17th July, was thinking of getting it done much earlier as I involves lot of travel. I have only read that your medical exams should be within 6 months from your POE date, otherwise have not heard anything...

Medical Examination validity in India is 6 months. I saw the validity on my exam records when the physician was preparing my papers. It read some thing like this...

Exam Date: 06/01/2017

Valid Till: 11/30/2017

 

@chamma if you're planning to travel within six months of your medical; you can do it early, but it depends on clinic and when they schedule you.

Oh ok. I will get to know from my report. There is nothing country specific timeline mentioned on the website so thought its generic.

I am getting my medical done on Saturday (10th June) which is a month ahead of interview. Luckily got the appointment on weekend....

Depending on the date of case completion cc....My case was completed on March 20th  2017 and was scheduled for interview on 2nd May 2017 for second week in June (so probably within a month of case completion you should be scheduled for interview) my category is daughter of a US citizen F1.

Hang in there, you would get the Interview date before you know it. You are almost there....

CC date April 20th. I would recommend you call NVC, so they can give you an update. It really is almost impossible for anyone to say when you will get that Interview date, but i would anticipate anyday soon now, looking at your CC date. Hang in there

Based on what i have read, Interview date kind of depends on how busy your county consulate is, and the numbers of cases before yours. What is your Case Complete date?
